This recipe is delicious! Replacing bread crumbs with the nuts is so tasty and much cleaner than the alternative. No guilt at this dinner table! Enjoy!
3 organic chicken breasts or 5-6 smaller strips
1/4 cup egg whites
1 cup pecans
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Using a food processor, blend all ingredients except for the chicken and egg whites.
3. Dip chicken first into egg whites and then into the mixture of other ingredients and place it onto a parchment or foil lined baking sheet.
4. Bake in the oven for around 30 minutes for chicken breasts and around 25 minutes for strips.
